Description

Pici are a traditional kind of pasta from Southern Tuscany. They are similar to spaghetti, but wider and rougher – they have the distinctive smell and taste of the Sienese countryside. The ancestors of spaghetti, Pici have deep roots in history as they have been the favourite Tuscan pasta since the Etruscan civilization.

Organic Senatore Cappelli durum wheat pasta

Our idea of Pasta is different. We make Senatore Cappelli whole grain durum pasta. After being bronze drawn, the pasta dries slowly at a low temperature – the result is a unique, nutritious kind of pasta with a rough and porous texture, a beautiful dark color and a strong flavor. Best if paired with a soft sauce that playfully interacts with the palate.
